Session 2: Professional Skills – Is the devil in the detail? Best practice in drafting legal notices and forms
In this webinar, Frances Hall, Special Counsel will cover:
- Drafting notices or forms which comply with legal requirements without being unnecessarily long, complicated or ambiguous;
- To what extent the particular needs of the recipient of the notice can or should be taken into account;
- Recent caselaw in which legal notices or forms have been set aside and why that occurred; and
- New approaches to regulatory notices and letters – using behavioural science principles to draft persuasive documents.
